Um, yeah, long story... something to do with animals... not too happy at the moment...

Sorry 'bout the lack of responses to the feedback here too...

I just had a good pal of mine put to sleep after around 18 years of company... Sam the cat finally succumbed to his illness of many months, where he was getting more and more frail and unhappy, and lost so much weight and wasn't eating... The poor creature would wander rather aimlessly about the house, miaowing in such sad ways, and although he would pick up a little when cuddled and stroked... in the end it was decided that he wasn't going to be getting any better...

And on the same weekend, my ferret Jimmy somehow got out of the house and disappeared, I discovered he wasn't around at about 2pm, and after a frantic search of the house, inside and out, and even underneath... I, along with my brother, realised he had wandered off... I have made up posters with pics of him and contact details, but I don't know, something tells me he may not return, I hope he does, and am trying to stay strong and all, but yeah

EDIT: In latest news... we have Jimmy back, he was missing for a day, and we received a visit from a friend up the road a little bit before midday, with a notice that he saw, saying he had been found, but had been hit by a car, so we feared the worst, but when we picked him up, he was all bruised and sorta feeling sorry for himself, but was drinking and eating, but we took him up to the vet, and had him checked out, and after a fair amount of examination and an x-ray, he was pronounced ok, but sore, no broken bones or anything, and was given a shot of painkillers and is back asleep in his box here now after a feed of banana and cat food.

Oh, and on a totally random note.... his peepee is just about as long as his thigh bone....

And just to answer some of the technical aspects of the image, it was taken earlier tonight, as I lay on my back in my driveway, staring into space... 300mm lens at full extension, 1000th sec. shutter speed and 5.0 aperture....

But well, thanks for all the feedback here so far, and I hope you understand if I don't respond...
