I really like the 40D myself too! Kept the 30D, but hardly use it.
This summer Im doing two weddings, so I will use both camera's then.

I'm selling my 350 and the 18-55mm to my step-dad, but then need to look at getting a 10-22mm to fill in the gap a little :)

And yeah, not too far away from me is a wildlife sanctuary where they have a lot of cute furry critters :)
